Doing the blog thang!

So I have friends and family who keep sending me emails about going to look at their blog site. Can't fathom why when there is face book and myspace to use.  So I decided to give it a try so that at the least I am not complaining about something I have no personal experience or knowledge about.  So here is my attempt.
